Harish Raichandani

Harish brings an interesting combination of people and practicality. His entrepreneurial perspective of the HR profession is founded on an unshakeable belief in people - and supported by his in-depth understanding of Operations and organisational dynamics. He brings 20 years of rich work experience in the HR function across multiple industries: engineering, manufacturing, telecom, IT and ITES, to name just a few. He has made significant contributions - at various stages of the maturity curve - for all kinds of companies, from start-ups to well established multinationals.

He has written several case studies and is currently in the process of writing a book on contemporary HR practices in India. He is the creator of the 'Potentia framework for HR competencies'.

Harish's professional passions include Appreciative Inquiry, Moderation Technique for LSIP, and generating high collaboration leading to managerial effectiveness.

The intermingling of Harish's work, hobbies and passions has led him to professional memberships of local and international organisations such as the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science (ISABS), the National HRD Network (NHRDN), and the International OD Network. Teaching, his other hobby, brings him close to students, as visiting faculty for MBA curriculum teaching 'Organisation Development'.

Harish was born in and lives in Hyderabad (India), loves chess, travel, swimming and scuba diving. His wife is a kindergarten teacher and his sons are studying in the 10th and 7th grades
at school.
